Self Empowerment and Employment Programme – Nepal
The Glenn Family Foundation is blessed to be working with the Child Development in Society in Nepal and their Self Empowerment and Employment Programme (SEEP), which teaches literacy and business skills to illiterate rural women so that they can start their own businesses to supplement the income of their families so they do not have to work in poor conditions and have their children engaged in child labour.
We look forward to growing our relationship with this wonderful organisation and the rural communities of Nepal.
This report was written by one of our GFF Representatives, Sophie Jones-Williams, who worked closely with these groups for 6 months as part of the GFF HELPS volunteer programme.
